Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Physician Recruitment is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for physicians and clinical specialists across Novacare Hospitals. You will ensure the attraction, assessment, and selection of top-tier medical talent in alignment with Novacare’s vision of developing a world-class healthcare network. You will partner closely with clinical leadership, department heads, and the People Practices team to deliver efficient, high-quality, and compliant hiring outcomes that support the hospital’s operational readiness and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Physician Recruitment & Selection

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for physicians, consultants, and clinical specialists — from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors and Department Heads to understand staffing needs, manpower budgets, and specialty-specific requirements.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract local and international medical professionals, including leveraging physician networks, medical associations, job boards, and LinkedIn.
  • Screen resumes and credentials for appropriate experience, education, and licensing.
  • Coordinate technical interviews, medical board evaluations, and credentialing documentation.
  • Manage offer preparation, negotiation, and issuance in coordination with the CPO and CEO (as per the DOA).

2. Workforce Planning & Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain a continuous talent pipeline for key medical specialties and sub-specialties.
  • Track upcoming workforce needs and replacement requirements based on hospital expansion and turnover data.
  • Maintain relationships with teaching hospitals, residency programs and international recruitment channels to source qualified physicians.

3. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Represent Novacare’s employer brand positively and professionally in all candidate interactions.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
  • Partner with the communications team to enhance Novacare’s brand visibility within the medical community through events, conferences, and social media presence.

4. Recruitment Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure that all physician recruitment activities comply with hospital policies, PMDC regulations, and international credentialing standards.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference verifications, and document authentication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Support the onboarding and credentialing process for selected physicians in collaboration with the People Practices Operations and Medical Affairs teams.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment dashboards tracking physician hiring progress, turnaround time, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies and reduce time-to-fill for critical roles.

Qualification:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred.

Experience:  06 to 07 years of experience in talent acquisition (preferably in healthcare)

Skills: 

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, recruitment tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
